Flying Wild Hogs are adding a Survival Mode to the PC-based FPS
Developers Flying Wild Hogs have released a new patch for their FPS Hard Reset.
The patch offers a few additions such as allowing the game to support both Nvidia 3dVision, Nvidia Surround, and support for multiple displays.
Changes have been made to Mortar Cyborgs’ reaction to players in the vicinity and the behavior of Melee Cyborgs. Also, falling down during bullet time will no longer cause additional damage. Dynamic lighting rendered on decals has changed, as has the display of weapons. Finally, the HUD has been adapted for both 3D and multiple displays.
In addition, a new Survival Mode has been added. Players will get to fight wave after wave of enemies in an attempt to stave off their eventual demise. The mode is available on the Arrival Hall and Landing Pad maps. Leaderboards have also been added for the Survival Mode.
The PC-exclusive game is the first title by the developers and features an old-school approach to the genre with the inclusion of health packs, rather than health regeneration.
