A raft of new DC characters will be introduced with the new DLC
The Flash brings new powers, maps and items to DCUO
Sony Online Entertainment have announced Lightning Strikes, the second DLC pack for their MMO DC Universe Online.
The DLC will be made available simultaneously for PS3 and PC and will include the MMO’s eight power set, Electricity Powers, and an adventure starring The Flash.
DCUO creative director Jens Anderson said, “Fans have the opportunity to immerse themselves in another great character and action-packed story from the DC Universe. We packed a whole new kind of fun into this DLC pack and are eager for our players to dive into another legendary adventure.”
The DLC will also provide a new map, Central City, new gear sets – Zoom-inspired for heroes and Black Lightning-inspired for villains – and The Flash Museum Duo, where players can see the current and future version of Central City as well as travel back in time to witness the moment Barry Allen became The Flash.
There will also be new DC characters, including Livewire, Black Lightning, The Top, The Trickster, and Static.
The DLC pack is free for those with a Legendary account, while Free and Premium players will be charged $9.99.
