2K Canberra reverts to former name of 2K Australia
The 2K Games studio in Canberra has been renamed 2K Australia and is now working alongside Irrational Games on BioShock Infinite, according to a report on MVC.
The studio has had a long history of being renamed. It was originally under the Irrational Games name, working in concert with the acclaimed Irrational Games studio in Boston, the same studio behind the original BioShock. It was eventually renamed 2K Australia and worked with 2K Marin on BioShock 2, after which the studio adopted the 2K Marin name and began work on XCOM.
The studio has now reverted back to the 2K Australia name.
BioShock Infinite is set for release in 2012 on 360, PS3 and PC.
