Sony to make forthcoming gaming handheld available to play across country
Sony has given the US public a chance to get their hands on PS Vita before it launches in February, according to the PlayStation Blog.
Sony has pledged to start up several Vita Social Clubs, the first of which opened on December 1 in San Francisco. These clubs allow gamers to try out a variety of Vita games, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, LittleBigPlanet, Little Deviants, WipEout 2048, Modnation Racers: Roadtrip, Hot Shots Golf, Reality Fighters, and Sound Shapes. The social clubs will also be giving away prizes, including the PS Vita itself.
Although only the San Francisco location (at 1694 Union Street) has opened so far, Sony plans to open more across the country in the near future. The social clubs will remain open until the Vita launches on February 22nd.
