We are working our hardest to make this game great, says founder
After achieving successful funding through their Kickstarter page, Muse Games has announced plans to launch Guns of Icarus Online, the developer’s upcoming first-person co-op airship game, into closed beta sometime next month.
The developer gained more than 1200 backers and raised more than $35,000 after successfully passing their Kickstarter goal of $10,000 earlier this week.
Muse Games founder Howard Tsao said, “Wow! Thanks everyone for the unbelievable support. Not really sure what to say, except that we are working our hardest to make this game great.”
Guns of Icarus Online focuses on team-based strategy in a steampunk setting. Teams of up to four players will have the opportunity to take on different roles and battle to control the skies in what is said to be online PVP matches.
No official release date has been announced for the closed beta. However, players who have pre-ordered the game through Kickstarter can expect to be invited into the beta sometime next month. Guns of Icarus is set to be released on PC and Mac.
