PSN version to land on April 4; companion app available now
Ubisoft has announced that its post-apocalyptic action-adventure game I Am Alive will be available to download on the PSN from April 4. The story centers on Adam, a man journeying in hopes of finding his wife and daughter still alive.
Throughout the game, players have to keep a close eye on their stamina and manage it carefully if they are to survive their journey through the ruined city. Destroyed buildings and the toxic atmosphere will also test your ability to survive. The game also uses a unique intimidation tactic for fighting off some enemies, an empty gun maybe all that is needed to chase off cowardly foes – some will still call your bluff, however.
Available now for iOS is the I Am Alive companion app. The download contains a host of features, including six exclusive songs from the game’s soundtrack, a street map of the game providing hints straight from the developers, an achievement/Trophy tracking list that allows you to check off as you go, and a photo mode that allows you to take I Am Alive-style pictures.
