Brawler will feature cross-platform gameplay
The upcoming cross-over fighting game PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will launch on October 23, 2012 in North America, according to the US PlayStation Blog. The game will launch on October 24 in most of Europe, October 25 in Australia and New Zealand, and October 26 in the UK and Ireland, according to the EU PlayStation Blog. It will release simultaneously on PS3 and PS Vita.
Developed by SuperBot Entertainment, the game will feature numerous playable PlayStation characters, including Sly Cooper, Nathan Drake, Parappa the Rapper, Sweet Tooth, Fat Princess, Colonel Radec and Kratos. Big Daddy will also be playable.
Sony also unveiled two new characters at its Exhibition Presentation at EVO in Las Vegas. Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken franchise and Japanese PlayStation mascot Toro Inoue (also referred to as the Sony Cat) will be playable characters.
The game will include cross-platform play between the PS3 and Vita versions.
Pre-ordering the game will grant gamers with exclusive alternate costumes for every character. Other costumes will be unlockable in-game.
