Director urges gamers to hang on to their copies for a little longer
A recent post on Andriasang has revealed that Capcom are hinting that you may want to hold onto your copies of Dragon’s Dogma. If recent comments made turn out to be true then gamers can expect more content to be on its way.
In a recent interview on Japanese gaming site 4Gamer, game director Hideaki Itsuno said, “I’m sure many have already cleared the game, but for Dragon’s Dogma, we’re continuing to prepare new play elements. It would be best if you held on to the game for a bit.”
Itsuno also touched upon the sales success of the new IP, saying that the domestic reaction was better than expected, and that the developer hopes to push it even further. So far the game has exceeded one million units shipped worldwide, becoming the 55th Capcom title to do so.
Itsuno also hinted at a possible sequel, saying that he would like to do so if he receives fan support.
