Dark Arisen coming to consoles in April
Capcom has announced the impending release of additional content for its hit action RPG Dragon’s Dogma. The expansion, Dark Arisen, is set to be released for the 360 and PS3 on April 23 in North America, and on April 26 in Europe.
The new content will be released as a digital download, but can be picked up on disk at participating retailers. Disk copies will also contain a copy of the original game.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is set to deliver an expansive new world to explore, featuring new enemies and missions.
Gamers with a previously saved character, can transfer it into the new content and continue their adventures. Moving across an existing character also opens up higher levels, plus powerful skills and augments. New weapons and armor will also accessible to these high-ranking characters.
Capcom has also said it will give existing players 100,000 Rift Crystals, unlimited Ferrystones and the Gransys Armour Pack consisting of six brand new costumes, to take into the expansion.
Capcom has also taken the expansion as a chance to tweak a few points. For instance, travel has been simplified and the menu system has also been modified.
