Aarklash: Legacy and Dogs of War Online both due this year
Cyanide Studio has announced the development of two new games set in the Rackham’s Confrontation medieval-fantasy universe. The company has said that each game will offer up different ways to play in order to target as wide a number of gamers as possible.
Dogs of War Online will be a free-to-play arena-based strategy game while Aarklash: Legacy is set to be a tactical-adventure game that puts players in control of a group of mercenaries.
While the developers promise that combat in Aarklash is the focus of the game, players will also be able to explore the world and develop new strategies to defeat the enemies using the pause system.
Cyanide claimed that Aarklash will be an epic experience filled with huge battles. Alongside the announcement of the two games a number of screenshots have been released showcasing two of the regions players can expect to visit; Acheron and Behemoth. The heroes of the game are also shown off as well as a few of the daunting foes.
Both games from Cyanide are expected to be released during the second-quarter of 2013.
