The Legend of Legacy given Holiday 2015 release date
Today video game publisher Atlus announced its plans to bring The Legend of Legacy to both North and South America. The RPG is being developed by a team made up of veterans from the JRPG genre including SaGa series game designer Kyoji Koizumi, Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu, and Chrono Trigger writer Masato Kato.
Similar to the SaGa series, Legacy’s story is split among seven explorers on the island of Avalon, an island that appears suddenly in the middle of the ocean. Combat will be turn-based with customizable formations and each character able to take on multiple roles. The gameplay will also be balanced for the western release.
The Japanese version was developed and published by FuRyu while Atlus will handle the western publication of The Legend of Legacy. It is scheduled for both physical and digital release for the 3DS in Holiday 2015.
